Plans: ribbed bottom and cuffs, v-neck top, possibly with stripe in v-neck ribbing.

Pullover, knit in pieces because seaming doesn’t scare me and I think it makes a nicer look.

My first attempt at a seamed adult sweater was a dismal failure, and I’ve decided that it was because the yarn I chose was too dark, and I couldn’t see what I was doing. Add to that a fairly fiddly cable pattern, and I’m going back to basics and learning the simple stockinette sweater - which is totally my style, anyway. :D

I’m going to start with a sleeve, and check my gauge again after it; I’d rather reknit a sleeve than rip out an entire sweater. Cable cast-on for the sleeve, 8 rows of stockinette, one turning row (k on the p side), then switching to 9s for the sleeve etc.

2/8 - numbers for back:
12 rows of ribbing (5, 2, 4)
82 rows stockinette to armholes
