Well, I finished it a week ago and have used it to warm myself up when I stay a long time as the computer: folded in two on my lap or around my shoulder; unfolded all along my front (chest, lap, legs) sometimes.
Before I block it (which will be tricky, considering the size) I decided to boil out as much lanolin as possible, as read somewhere on someone’s notes re: working with preyarn.
So today I boiled it twice in water+laundry detergent. Twice the water was very strongly colored - first reddish, then darker - and now it looks like perhaps the colors will be altogether more blended. This does not bother me, rather the opposite; though I’ll have to wait and see it dry before I can really say.
