This might be the fastest I’ve ever knit something! I love this yarn, so that helps ;)

Wonderful, clever pattern with cues for when to transition to the next section, based on your yarn usage (i.e. “When you finish your first skein, ____” or “When you’ve used a little over half of your second skein, ____.” I love that, as it promotes maximum yarn usage (and a larger shawl, to boot)!

One error I noticed in the pattern, under directions for the “Second Faux Cable” :

Row 4 should read:

k2, purl to third marker, knit to next marker, p2, sm, knit to next marker, p1, sm, knit to next marker, p2, sm, knit to next marker, purl to last marker, k2

The purl 1 indicates the center column, which is always knit on the RS, and always purled on the WS.

Row 5 should read:

k2 (at the end of the row instructions), as opposed to the written “kw”

7-18-16

Finished and blocked!

I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off, (on a RS row), since I wanted to block this as largely as possible.

When it’s dry, I’ll post modeled photos and the finished dimensions.
