Decided to make a mouse version instead of the cute bunnies.
Used 10 ply yarn and 5mm needles since this is what I had to hand and I was too impatient to wait and order new needles. I moderated the pattern to cast on 40 stitches to compensate for the smaller needles and split these into 13,14,13 stitches for the three sections on row 4. I worked the length in inches required for the medium foot. Then decreased to 6st for first decrease, 20 st for first increase and as pattern for second decrease.

I devised my own pattern for knitting the mouse ears.

I dunked these in hot soapy water, then threw them into the machine on a 40 degree wash. They looked a bit too small when they first came out but I put them on and they fit perfectly.

I used cosmo embroidery floss to do the features. Pink 351 for eyes and light brown 308 for the nose.

The colour is so much nicer in real life. Looks really bleached out in these pics.
