I love this blanket!
The idea is great - the pattern has some problems.

be aware that this is called a “quick baby blanket” - it is definitely not! Knitting the bobbles takes a lot of time & yarn.
Due to the construction of the “bobbles” the knitted fabric is not laying flat. The body of the gator is -simply spoken- bigger than the surrounding area of the blanket.

I did some sewing to fix this which was quite time consuming. The last photo gives you an idea about this: the blue arrow shows the area where I already did the sewing of bobbles - the red arrow is the area where the bobbles are awaiting the sewing.
