One of my oldest projects, made mostly because I bought this ball of textured fluffy yarn on impulse and wanted to see how it worked up. As it turned out, all the nubs and loops in the yarn made it somewhat hard for a beginning crocheter to negotiate, especially since my stitches used to be kind of tight back then. However, the fluffiness covered up all kinds of mistakes, so maybe it wasn’t such a bad choice after all. Probably done in single or half double, something fairly simple since that’s all I knew then. It was wonderfully soft and I couldn’t stop petting it -- probably wouldn’t mind making something similar again, only longer and skinnier. That’s the sort of thing you could have around your neck all day. Ended up sending this to a friend, but can’t remember for the life of me where it ended up…
