This is my 2nd vest, this time with a back center square, and I devised a sleeve design with short rows on either side of the squares block to obtain the necessary slant and upper arm width and a curved sleeve cap obtained with short rows, too. This took some time as the sleeve cap shaping proved a bit complex, and I had frog the sleeves section several times, until the sleeve cap curve fitted into the armhole satisfactorily.
