02-07-2014: haha! I just now realized that the buttons are a little ‘off’ (don’t line up with the contrast stripes the same way…oops) but daughter hasn’t noticed. I wonder if she will? No matter, I’m not redoing them! =D

01-22-2014: Seed stitch hem, sleeves, and soon-to-be button band. Had to rip out the first sleeve and re-knit since it was too floppy (I wasn’t following directions!). The seed stitch takes forever but she likes it so much more than the garter stitch.

Frogged 1st attempt.

Re-knitting in all stockinette (NO garter stitch yoke).

07-17-2013: went with 2 rows fennel then 9 rows main color. That way I can just let the fennel travel up one side and not have all manner of ends hanging out. LOVE the color combo! If daughter changes her mind then this sweater will be mine. =D

Knitting XS/S but on larger needles and thicker yarn so it will be more like a medium-ish.
