12-31-2012: Picking up cuff stitches and adding on to make them longer (knuckle length to cover the palms).

11-11-2012: Finished. Didn’t block it (for me, acrylic never seems to be much different after blocking so it seems like a waste of time) but as is the measurements are:

chest: 42” total
length: 22” from back of neck seam (not including collar portion)

Decreased every 4th row on sleeves until 28 sts remained.

11-10-2012: Body finished, 1/3 down first sleeve. Fastest sweater ever! Found cute fabric covered buttons at JoAnn Fabrics that don’t match the yarn 100% but are bright and cheery.

9 sts and 12 rws = 4” x 4” over St st. (pattern goes more by measurements and not so much by rows so my 12 rows per 4”, instead of 13.5 rows called for in pattern yarns, doesn’t seem to be a big deal).

Will be decreasing the sleeves a little more than the pattern calls for so they aren’t quite so floppity.

11-07-2012: Fabric too stiff on size 13 circs- frogged and am reknitting with size 15 US circulars (approx. 9 stitches per 4” but much more loose than before!). Will check again after a few more inches just to have an accurate count for future reference but eyeballing it- it looks fine in size. Fabric feels snuggly- should be an easy wear.

Also, adjusted CO to 84 (sizes shift by 8 stitches each) and will maybe downsize the armholes so I’ll see what size that comes out closest to later on before tagging it.

Needed a quick (washable) throw-on for when we take the dog out to do her “business” … ^^

CO today at work and as fast as it’s going expect to be done by end of this next weekend.

Always thought of super-bulky as only for afghans but it looks nice so far!
