OMG, what a cute pattern! I’m so in love with the finished object - as are V’s parents. I’m gonna be making more of these in the future, and there’ll definitely be an owl sweater for me, too.

I did make some changes:

• I made the bottom ribbing and the body of the sweater longer so the sweater would fit V into next winter too
• I made the cuff ribbing significantly longer (at least 4’’ of cuff ribbing) - the ribbing can be folded up for now, and next winter, when he’s bigger the ribbing will still be long enough
• I knit both sleeves at the same time to make sure that the gauge and the number of rows matched each other perfectly
• I continued knitting the neckhole ribbing to make it smaller - the pattern neckhole looked too big
• I chose buttons with a cat’s eye shape for the button’s holes - that way they look like proper owl eyes
