Hook case:
x6 sunburst granny squares

Slip stitch granny squares together, 3 per side and sc round as a border. Sc in slip stitch join also (sc, chain 2, sc in each corner).

Slip stitch both sides together on reverse (leave one long side open). Turn right side out.

Hand sew zip into opening. Use single strand from DMC cotton correct colour stitching into sc border.

Create lining by folding matching sized fabric in half and sewing short sides closed. Turn in top edges for neat finish & hand sew lining to zip.

Glasses case:
Same as above but only 2 sunburst squares per side.
Extended length by adding granny stripe to short sides (only 2 dc on first and last).
