I took the cat motif from the Pelle mitten pattern and charted it to fit the yoke.
I moved the pocket over by 2 stitches and increased its size to 14 stitches.
Initially I knitted the motif in the grey yarn but wasn’t pleased with the contrast of colour so I frogged that and redid it with a cream yarn - so much better!
First steek done, yaaay :) don’t know what I was so afraid of. (many thanks to Kate Davies for her great tutorial)
