The blanket is blocking now and I am so happy with it! I love the way the lace pattern looks positioned horizontally and vertically in the different segments.

I did a few extra rows in both the lace section and the border, as I’m using a DK yarn and didn’t want the blanket to be skimpy. I used EZ’s sewn bind-off to get a nice stretchy edge so I could block it firmly and open up the pattern. Finished size turned out to be 80cm (32”) square.

This yarn was a dream to work with, beautifully soft and so well priced. I’m sure I’ll be using it many more times in the future.
