I came across this pattern just after making the Norwegian baby hat it is based on, and decided I should try this “grown-up” version too - plus, I love hats with ear flaps!

These two similar-weight handspun leftovers played well together and I’m very pleased with the result. I made my stalk into a cute little loop on top so it’s not _completely_ without whimsy :)
