This yarn has a lot of variation in thickness (it dates back to relatively early in my spinning journey and was chain plied…) so I wasn’t sure how well it would work for this beautiful pattern.

However, I really liked the idea of the papery buff colour with the hexagonal shapes and luckily, it worked just fine :) Some of the “lines” are thicker than others but the design shines through no problem, and it’s so soft and warm.

I love this pattern and want to knit another right away. Would that be weird?
