Christmas gift knit & part of the Indie Gift-a-long 2013.

Great pattern, pleasant to knit and gorgeous finished product, reminiscent of a herringbone textured fabric. My photo looks like a beanie because it’s blocking over a balloon but it does have a bit of slouch to it!

The yarn is a sock weight MCN I dyed as a sample and I used about 40g.

My only note is I really recommend using the end of round marker as written, often I skip markers and just read my knitting but I needed this one - in fact, I used markers in two colours to indicate the two positions it’s moved between :)
