A few modifications:

• Crocheted smaller ears using a similar method to the pattern, but a shorter starting chain and fewer rounds.
• Embroidered inside the ears with a scrap of pink DK yarn instead of lining with fabric.
• Crocheted little tusks using a scrap of white DK yarn and a 3mm hook instead of gluing on felt.

The eyes are hand painted in a pale marbled yellow. I buy clear safety eyes and paint the back of them with acrylic paint to get just the colours I want :)

This is a cutie and has a fun construction, the blog posts accompanying the pattern are very clear and it was fun to make.
