Christmas knit for my niece Maisie :)

I found this stitch pattern in “Knit & Purl Stitches : 250 to Knit” edited by Erica Knight - it’s called Ornamental Stitch. I modified it a bit by making two loops instead of three at the top to fit into the decreases on the crown of the hat.

I also used a twisted German cast-on and a few rows of moss stitch ribbing to start.
