These guys are so fun!

I did make the large and small versions, but somehow managed to photograph only the larger.

I prefer to crochet details rather than glue on felt, so I made a white eye circle using three rows of dc in white perle cotton with a 1.5mm hook, and embroidered a black pupil in the middle of it with buttonhole stitch in black perle cotton.

I also couldn’t make the antennae look neat with a tr at the end, so I just skipped that bit :)
