Very (very!) loosely based on this pattern :)

• Cast on 36st with cable cast on
• 6 rows of 2x2 ribbing then 1 row knit
• 1 row (k2, p2) then 1 row knit, repeated nine times
• Thumb gusset from pattern, continuing broken rib as before
• Thumb from pattern, but just 1 plain knit row, only decreased to 16st, and 4 rows of 2x2 ribbing
• 1 row (k2, p2) then 1 row knit, repeated four times for the hand
• 6 rows of 2x2 ribbing
• Bind off with (k2tog, back to left needle)
