Named by my friend Isaac who became very excited on Twitter when I mentioned I was knitting a monkey.

Knit pretty much exactly to pattern. The yarn was held tripled (basically chain plying as I knit) which was tough on the hands but made a lovely firm fabric. I added some plastic toy pellets into the lower body to help him sit up.

He is rustic and chunky, but has a charm about him. Love this pattern: I’m tempted to knit another version, this time extra small, in some obscenely luxurious fingering (lace?!) weight yarn ;)
