Not really following the linked pattern - just taking the idea of using two long-striping yarns to knit a scarf. Mine was made using a helix stripe, in a 72st circumference tube.

That turned out too wide and short, so - after a long hibernation, in which I pondered turning it into a draft excluder or simply throwing the damned thing out - I blocked AGGRESSIVELY (standing on one end and pulling the other up with every muscle I have!) and it magically became a lovely scarf :D

I added a little crochet to fancy up the ends using a 3mm hook and fingering weight yarn. The pattern is Border #22 from “Around The Corner Crochet Borders” by Edie Eckman. Using a lighter yarn stopped it from flaring out, and I blocked that part lightly just to emphasize the shape of the pattern.
