Another baby hat for another co-worker due to have a baby shortly :)

I made the pattern smaller by casting on 103 stitches and leaving 15 between each set of decreases. Needle size didn’t really matter since when you get small enough the yarn is the critical factor, so I just used my usual sock needles.

I also added some contrast stripes using the helix method (no jogs!) using a scrap of Soft Like Kittens Burnished Sport yarn, which is similar to the Baby Cashmerino - perhaps slightly thicker, but it worked fine.

I did do a centred double decrease, just for fun, but other than those changes I think I knit to pattern.
