Using up little scraps of yarn (mostly dyeing experiments). Two at a time, working from both ends of each yarn, so they’ll match. No particular sequence, just picking out something that coordinates but contrasts with the last colour used each time.

Plain stockinette in my usual toe up recipe:

• Spiral toe
• 66st foot circumference
• Increased 12st in a riverbed gusset
• Fish Lips Kiss Heel over 45st
• Decreased 4st right above heel
• 74st leg circumference
• 1x1 ribbing
• Icelandic bind off
