Christmas knit for my Dad :)

I found this stitch pattern in “Knit & Purl Stitches : 250 to Knit” edited by Erica Knight - it’s called Woven Stitch 1. I also used a twisted German cast-on (96 stitches) and a few rows of moss stitch ribbing plus a little stocking stitch to start.

I tried to use as much of the yarn as possible without running out before the last few decrease rows and managed pretty well, just a few yards left!
