7/6: knitting done, did 5 extra repeats of chart A
blockingpile ;)
31/8: finally got to the blocking! oh my back is killing me now, it better be worth it!
and the final result… blocking was worth it, but if i had the chance to do it again, i would have kept it a lot wetter while blocking. the pinning and everything took a very long time and i think by the end it was allready to dry to get the full wet-block-experience. should have bought that plantspray earlier.
now it still shrinks a bit back into the stitches instead of the pattern, and the edges keep curling back.
offcourse the yarn is pure nylon, so i should have guessed.
Mum still loved it, allthough i didn’t get the time to see it. She just can’t believe HER clumsy two-left-handed daughter could produce such intricate patterns. yeay me!!!
