Notes

I have knitted almost as in the pattern! The only modification I made was knitting full length sleeve (36 cm long ribbing)

When working on the back neck insert I noticed that the last repeat of row 3 was impossible to knit (not enough sts), so I knitted instead:

k1, k3tog, k to 4 sts before marked st, ssssk, yo2, k4tog, k to last 5 sts, sssk, k1.

I didn’t BO the sleeve sts when dividing the body from sleeves, instead, I slipped them onto the stitch holder, and when starting the rib, I BO 40 sts using modified 3-needle bind off (started in the middle of the “underarm”) and worked the ribbing on remaining sts.

When picking up the stitches for the turtleneck, I picked up 36 sts from edge of the back neck insert, and 38 sts along the each cable panel (in ratio 3 sts per 4 sts), turtleneck seems to be a little too tight for me, so if you prefer to wear the turtleneck not so close to your neck, I suggest to pick up 4 or even 8 sts more. I may reknit this part after the blocking.

pictures come soon!

Batwing is not only gorgeous and clever design but also stylish and very interesting to knit! I enjoyed every single stitch sooo much! Thank you Norah! BTW - the book is a must have! <3
