I started this with 4 row stripes but the yarn is too bulky to carry double-stranded up the side nicely. I frogged and went with 8 row stripes instead and cutting the yarn between stripes.

This scarf has 25 rows and used exactly one ball of the variegated colourway, just over half a ball of gemstone and just about half a ball of navy.

Wool amounts are an estimate. To make the scarf and mitts, you’ll need to buy 1 gemstone, 1 navy and 2 hudson’s Bay. I may have enough left over to make a matching stripey hat.

Update: I was able to make a hat too but needed to start a second ball of gemstone. I made tails extra long though when making the scarf. If I had paid better attention, I could easily have made all three items using only 1 ball navy, 1 gemstone and 2 hudson’s Bay.
