I think I’ve made a poor yarn choice with this. I really don’t like the pooling with the MadTosh. Like really don’t like it. Well, it’s fine on one sock but the yarn is much more washed out on the second sock so it’s very strongly teal and white where the other is teal and white/yellow/speckles. It makes me sad when there is such inconsistency in dye from beginning to end of a skein.

Anyway, I’m almost half way through the socks and I’m going to rip back and replace it with a different CC. I’ve picked a gray with little tints of sporadic color. Hopefully this will work better.

Okay, gray is working well. It doesn’t have the same in-your-face vibe as the attractive teal sock had but it’s much more pleasant than the bad-pooling teal sock. The awesomeness of the gray is a tad covered by the pattern but I’m still a fan.
