Short row toe for 64 sts. (I meant to do 68. How did I miscount so?) Increased 4 sts (k2, inc) every other row to 72 sts.

Out of curiosity, I’m estimating the number of stitches in these socks. Looks like the toe has just over 1,000 (1,046 but I will round down for fudge-factor). Each repeat of the little blocks has 720.

26 Dec
I have finally finished these socks! The reknit toes have somewhere around 1248 stitches in them (more but rounding down a tad). So short row toes, short row heels, plus 21 block sections… that’s about 17,616 stitches per sock or 35,232 stitches total.

Wow.
