Notes

And done! The total project took about 16ish hours, I’d guess. I imagine it wouldn’t take so long if I hadn’t kept screwing up and missing a stitch on round 6 or 7 on the first leg warmer. Had to redo it 3 times. That’s what I get for paying more attention to the TV than what I’m crocheting.

Other than that, it was an easy and fun little project. I’m dorktastically excited about my leg warmers!

Total Rnds: 52.
Pattern adaptations:

  • Decrease in Rnd 42, 45, 48 and 51.
  • Sl st in back loops for Rnd 52.
  • Next time, I’ll switch the front and back posts to prevent cables from seeming so far apart in the back on either side of each rnds beginning ch.
  • Also next time, I’ll probably not repeat the increases as much as, even with 3 rnds with decreases, they are fairly loose. Since they are cotton, I imagine that won’t change so I might need to add a little elastic at the top to keep them up after lots of use…?
