CO 33 for the M size. Based on the measurements, the M might be a little small but I’m using a larger needle so I’ll see what gauge that gives me.

One down! It’s so cute and the fit is great! I was a bit worried about the thumb section but it went really well. Now I just have to do a matching one!

The mittens are all finished and blocking. Somehow the second one ended up a little smaller than the first. Perhaps my tension was tighter? Regardless, it is just a little so I’m hoping blocking will take care of that.

Blocking is all finished and it took care of the slight size difference. The mittens almost don’t look like even fraternal twins because of the green in one, but I like ‘em! (And they are warm!)

Okay, I’m reopening this project because I have a little bit of yarn leftover from my Noro Kochoran and I continue to be bothered by the differences in gauge with these mittens and the fact that one has lots of green and the other has ZERO. So I think I have it where I’ll be able to make two more mittens and have more matching sets color-wise (and hopefully gauge!)

Blocking! I tried to think tighter thoughts on the green mitten so it would match the other one and I think I thought it too hard - it’s a bit smaller. But it fits and blocking will stretch it out some, I’m sure.
