Love the looks of these but must be thoughtful about fit with all the cables. Also going at this toe up.

My current plan: US0 needles, size M (72 sts).
Half and half toe CO 28, increase every rnd to 48, increase every other rnd to 72. (Note: next time CO 24.)
Continue to foot. Begin on row 22 of chart with cables and plain knit (instead of lace section).
Add in a mini gusset (6 sts) before a FLK heel.
After heel, immediately switch to US1. Decrease out gusset sts. Continue with size M leg.
Knit “transition from ribbing” section, then switch to US0 for top ribbing.
