I’ll be honest,this project is a bit of a beating. Three strands of cotton on size US8? I can’t imagine knitting this with needles other than my silky HiyaHiyas. The gauge is so tight, each stitch is a bit of a struggle. And let’s not even talk about the k2tog!

Still, I want something to help grab my Le Creuset out of the oven. I think I’ll crochet the second one.

I am half-tempted to add eyes to the top and a red tongue inside. Because this looks like a muppet.
