So, crocheting… I haven’t done that in a while. This also has a lot of little pieces/details to do. Those two things combined with the fact that I really want to make another unicorn, I might not finish this one too quickly.

Have completed body, head, two arms, tail. Having to do just a little at a time to keep my wrist from hurting.

Legs and thumbs/big toes done. I am ashamed to say it, but I really don’t like crocheting anymore. Not as happy making as knitting. Tsk tsk.

Oops. I kind of let myself get intimidated by the lots of pieces involved in assembly and kind of knit donuts for a couple (or three) weeks. But I started putting things together a day or so ago and now the head is mostly done. Gotta do the ears and the face fur. Then the rest of the body!

I FINALLY got all the pieces assembled after 2 days of focus. I am pleasantly surprised at how well things came together and took shape, but I have to believe there must to be a better way to make this guy other than to make and assemble 18+ pieces. Whew. Also, I have no felt, so no belly patch or cute behind. I hope my little baboon is okay with that.
