The MIL requested a hat for Christmas, but she waited until too far into December and I couldn’t swing it. Instead, she’s getting one for her birthday.

This is going quickly and is, for the most part, enjoyable. The only negative is the stupid bamboo needles I’m using, the only 11s I have. They are so rough and sticky. Urg!

All done! Well, I gotta block but otherwise all done. Great hat - I really like it! Hate with a passion the Clover bamboo needles and plan to replace them ASAP, but the hat pattern is great!

It’s dry now and it looks so good! Blocking loosened it up just a hair so the slouch is delightfully chic. It fits perfectly - well, at least it fits me perfectly. Hopefully it will fit MIL, too!
