Happened upon some yarn that made me think of my mom and had to buy it. I’ve spent a few days, knitting and frogging, trying to find the right pattern. This one wins!

Using US11s as my gauge matches and I don’t have US13s.

I’ve made this a bit longer than the measurements for the neck wrap since I had the yarn but I’ll still add a button since it’s not quite long enough to double wrap. Now I’m giving it a light blocking… you know, wet wool always smells like wet dog to me, but this yarn is particularly funky smelling when wet.

Finally found a button (2”) and sewed it on. For some reason this has roughed up post-blocking - what was previously neck-soft is now prickly. I tend to be more sensitive to that sort of thing and it’s not so bad that I wouldn’t wear this so hopefully it will still be fine for my mom. It’s very pretty at least!
