This yarn sticks to itself like cling wrap and it twists like mad. But it’s so pretty as it runs through my fingers, I don’t really care. (Yet?)

Okay, slightly annoyed with the yarn’s twistiness but I still think it is pretty. I’m probably about half way through the needed length. At first I thought the red was a bit jarring but now that it has repeated, I think it adds a nice oomph.

Okay, I’m going to restart the cross-weave part again. This will be the third time. I have been having issues finding the best way to do it so that I like how it looks but doesn’t take forever. I like how top crochet across the squares look (chaining across the empty bits, around the crossbars). But first, I’ve messed with this so much, I need to reblock it.

Stopped working on this for a bit due to a hurt shoulder, but now I’m all done and it’s blocking!

All finished! It’s so pretty! Yay! Now I just have to pick out the shawl pin I want to use with it.

Base ch =3x + 5 for ch2 mesh.
ch144 +5
Should be about 20” wide.
Aim for about 50-52” long.
