Notes

I learned to follow a chart on this blanket. Thanks to generous help from Audrey Scalzo, I understood the chart and felt confidant enough to be successful.

This pattern is very pretty and actually very do-able for a new knitter like myself.

I’m truly a fan of Jared Flood’s patterns.

This pretty baby blanket was knitted while waiting for my first grandchild to arrive. I’ve been beside myself with happiness and knitting sure does help with the process of waiting for a new baby to arrive!

The first time I knitted this one it was for my daughter and her daughter. Now I’m knitting it again as my son and his wife are expecting a daughter! I’m using same yarn, same color. Only difference is I added one more 10 stitch repeat to the width.
