Making this up as I go. Started with the head, will be improvising the body and limbs to be roughly in scale.

So far the part I hate most about the original Bucky Bear design is getting the shape of the nose right in crochet. Eventually resorted to a round nose instead.

Mask

(hdc, dc) in second ch from hook, (dc, hdc) in next st, sc in next 2 sts, (hdc, dc) in next st, (dc, hdc, sc) in last st
repeat on other side of chain

Sew mask to face. Embroider eyeholes.

Sew ears to head

Nose

Buttons (make 4)

sew collar to neckline

Finishing
Sew head to neck. Sew arms and legs to body.
