Used a thinner yarn (mercerized crochet cotton) and about half the proportions of the original pattern for a smaller Hobbes overall. Used this method for the body’s jogless stripes.

Will also attempt doing the head and body in one piece, from the bottom up. *gulp*

I keep getting the sinking feeling I might make another one of these down the line. In hindsight I could’ve sewed on the legs straighter for symmetry.
