This was actually a really quick knit- I just don’t knit nearly as often as I used to. The shawl itself is gorgeous. I put a lot more fringe than the pattern called for- about every two inches. Since I used a cotton, I knitting until it was about 30 inches from the cast on edge. It only gained about 3 inches in height from blocking.

I really, really love this pattern and this shawl. And the color of the araucania yarn is gorgeous. 100% pleased!
