Notes

I had this pattern (last picture) in my queue for ages. Was afraid of making it because of the zippers.
Made size 42/44 instead of the smallest one because the original pattern is very small even for me and I figured that I’ll need to wear something underneath it since it is a jacket. Plus I made sleeves longer (originally they were supposed to be 3/4).
Used the remnants of the ColourMart yarn that I had used before for 2 projects (one of them - here, yarn knitted together with Rowan Kid Silk Haze). The color is greenish grey which is why I cannot call this jacket “Colonel Mustard”, even though that was my first choice.
It took a while to finish and till the end I wasn’t sure that it would turn out OK.
The fit is perfect, the yarn is soft and light, and this whole thing goes well with the Summer of Basics theme because, seriously, what is more basic than a jacket military style? Works with everything and is always trendy!
And it has zippers - I overcame my fears and managed to put not one but three (!!!) zippers in it.
