9/23/09 I decided to put all the sock yarn scraps in my stash to good use. Plan to only use superwash and do a crochet border.

I will admit the first one did not make me a fan of DPNs but after the first couple rows now I’m enjoying it. :)

9/27/09 Already on my third square! They are so easy and fun to knit. As soon as I bind off, I cast on and get at least a couple rows knit. Seems to be the trick to getting past the awkward first rows of the DPNs.

4/6/10 Am working on my 6th. It was put aside to finish other projects but I’m working on it again. :) It’s back to my purse knitting!

6/8/11 Am working on number 13!! That is pretty impressive considering I haven’t on them very much but not so since I’ve only knit 12 in almost 2 years!

Realized if I want to make this for Carmen’s toddler bed, I only need to make 36 as I am thinking 9X4 squares would work. That seems attainable!!
