Notes

2012-10-22 Still not exactly “leafy”. I think it’s because the Wool Leaves pattern is a chunkier yarn and so the non-eyelet stitches are tighter -- mine is airier and the leaves are not quite as defined. It is still very nice.

2012-10-13 Blocking to 20” by 65”. It is lacy, but not quite as leaf-y looking as the Wool Leaves blanket. Hoping it’ll leaf up a bit when I take it off the wires.

2012-10-13 Just finished casting off. I got 32-1/2 repeats of the lace pattern + the moss stitch edging at the top and bottom, with a few metres of yarn left, so probably 930 yards used. It’s about 4’ long before blocking, but quite stretchy.

2012-09-22 Adapting Wool Leaves into a lace weight stole by casting on 111 stitches. Planning to just repeat the pattern until I run out of yarn. The lace pattern is easy to memorize--almost too easy, I thought it was going to be a little more challenging. But that’s OK.
