Notes

Photos are added by two collages of the finished project, followed by work in progress photos and then finishing with photos of them finished. Apologies for any stray hairs you might see, living with cats and dogs mean they are hard to eliminate from all photos even when you try.

The pattern was easy to follow and I enjoyed making them. I decided to do a bit larger than the pattern as I thought they might be too small, so like suggested I started with a chain of 41. Generally no problems with pattern, there was a few points I was unsure on but when this happened I looked at her photo tutorial online but other than that I worked from the downloaded pdf she supplies for free.

If I was to make these again I’d make them a bit smaller and I’d consider using a standing double crochet (American Terms) instead of a chain 3 at each row. I think this will improve the over all look. One other thing to note, her pattern is in UK terms and if you’ve learnt using American terns be careful not to do the wrong stitches :) as I did this a few times by accident.

The yarn I worked with is lovely, its my first time using Debbie Bliss yarn and I’m in love. Its a lovely soft cotton and it’s easy to work with. I really enjoyed using this beautiful yarn and I’ll be buying more in the future. Its a really lovely yarn that also produces lovely results. I’m very impressed with how these wrist warmers look and feel.

Sadly these didn’t end up fitting me so when my friend Sarah came over I asked if they fit her would she like them. Well they fit :-D and she loved them a lot so this made me really happy!
