I started off by making two swatches, one with the E hook and one with the G hook (which says it’s 4.25mm, not 4.00mm). I can’t seem to find an F hook anywhere…I suspect it may be in a crack den in Vancouver with the rest of my things.

The F hook swatch was nice and solid looking, but it felt too stiff. The G hook swatch was very fluid and drapey, but looked a bit messier. I’m going with the G hook because I think part of the problem is I’m just not used to looking at crochet, and the fabric feels so much nicer.

I’m going to try to get through 16g of yarn per day, that way I should finish in time to maybe start other projects for the KAL!

DONE! No problems to report, it turned out great!
