OK here we go! 2nd CRW using Vanna’s choice (when possible). I’m going to modify the pattern. I will post pictures when my experiments are finished. I’m going to work on the center and the circles and when the weather cools this autumn I’ll do the largest part of it.
5-25-10: Now to play with polar graph paper!
5-29-10: Posting result of experiment and the inspiration. 16” diameter, 180 stitches around.
5-30-10: Finished embroidery on dove and first black ring with popcorn jewels done in Sherbert.
6-10-10: Completed second section of rays. working in 12s rather thasn 8s as in original CRW. Still making it up as I go. Want to add more colors next. Bought some RH Monet. Maybe I can learn how to do tunisian short row dishcloth as motif for heptagons.
