Notes

I hunted around for a little while to find a shawl which would suit the glorious squishiness of my Black isle Yarns Zwartbles~Alpaca Blend and eventually settled on the Romney Kerchief. I used a couple of scraps of Shilsadair 4 ply held double for the stripes……they didn’t end up quite as I had planned but I managed to use pretty much every last little bit of Shilasdair Pink and Yellow plus all the Zwartbles~Alpaca.

It’s a great wee pattern and good for adapting as I did here. I used a garter tab cast-on rather than the suggested provisional cast-on. I particularly like the sewn bind-off although it did test my patience!

Finished at 132cm wide (52”) by 56cm deep (22”).

Another sample which I’m wearing much more than originally intended. It’s perfect under a winter coat to keep off the chill.
