I have been reading the blog from knitspot since months. Sometimes I have been looking through the ravelry pattern library of knitspot. There are so many nice knits, but the bang was missing. When I read the post of Twig and Leaf and see the pictures, I know this is what I will buy. I did it, with concrete wool in my mind.

The gauge of my yarn is totally different to the pattern, but I knit a swatch of the lace, and it looks beautiful. So I recalculate the whole pattern with my gauge than I started the journey through the pattern.

I really think about knitting it again with a lace yarn….
The yarn is so beautiful, so soft, with an own heaviness, not light.

Seit einiger Zeit lese ich den Blog von Knitspot. Ich schaue hin und wieder in die Pattern Library von Knitspot. So viele schöne Vorlagen, aber keine die mich richtig zum Nachstricken anzog. Dann kam der Post von Twig and Leaf und ich sah die Fotos und klar war, das werde ich stricken. Also habe ich das Pattern gekauft, mit einem konkreten Garn im Hinterkopf.

Die Maschenprobe der Anleitung und die von meiner Wolle passten nicht genau. Mein Probestrickstück hat mir so gut gefallen, das ich die gesamte Anleitung neu berechnet und dann gestrickt habe.

Die Anleitung gefällt mir so gut, dass ich überlege, noch einmal zu stricken, natürlich diesmal in einem Lacegarn.
Die Wolle ist einfach wunderbar. Sie ist so soft und hat eine gewisse Schwere. Also kein Federgewicht.
